Hiking Therapy

If you’ve ever wished that you could have your therapy session outdoors or on the move rather than sitting in an office, this is your chance.

Hiking therapy is exactly what it sounds like - It’s just like a normal therapy session, but done while walking on a park trail rather than sitting in an office.

There is something uniquely healing about both walking and being in nature, offering a different experience of therapy than sitting and facing each other on a screen during a virtual session or across the room in an office. Clients often describe this kind of walk-and-talk therapy as less pressured, more relaxed, as well as more grounding than typical sit-and-talk therapy.

Hiking therapy sessions are done at Frick Park in the Regent Square neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Fridays, and last just under an hour.

These sessions are out-of-pocket only, with a cost of $100 per session.
